How Can high Blood Pressure Along With Dizziness Be Treated?

I am a 58 year old male. I have recently had an episode of Hypertension - 179/114 as documented by the ER. My MD. put me on Lisinopril 10mg. I am also taking three or four other meds. I am today constinley having spinning and dizziness in my head and nothing has brought relife. My question is therefore could there be some drug interreaction causing this because my blood pressure does stay in a normal range now?

Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.

I would suggest you to take your BP in lying and standing position lisinopril can cause postural drop which can cause light headedness and vertigo you can discuss this problem with attending physician so that he can adjust the medication .

I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.

Regards.
